Maggie and Moody moved to Beadle County, South Dakota in the year 1910. They farmed until 1925 when they moved to Huron. They returned to their farm in 1946 and farmed until retirement in 1961 when they moved to Huron. Martin Johnson Jr now farms the farm. Before moving to South Dakota, Moody was a railroad brakeman with Northwestern.
